Here you can find a selection of frequently asked questions, regarding skip size, permits and types of waste you can dispose of.

  • We offer four different sizes of skip: 2 yards, 3 yards, 4 yards & 8 yards. A 2-yard skip holds around 20 bin bags, a 3-yard skip holds around 30 bin bags, a 4-yard skip holds 40 bin bags, and an 8-yard skip holds up to 80.

  • Yes, we charge extra to dispose of certain types of rubbish, such as tyres, refrigerators and plasterboard. tyres - £5 each, fridges/freezers - £100 each and plasterboard - Ring for cost. We can't currently accept dangerous and toxic waste such as asbestos, gas canisters/bottle and hazardous chemicals.

  • You can keep your skip for up to 14 days.

  • You can select your delivery date on our contact form, or you can just give us a call and we will be happy to help.

  • Please do not overload our skips. It is dangerous to do so and will incur further charges. Level loads only.

  • The prices vary depending on road permits, types of waste and the size of the skip. Please call us for more information.

  • If your skip is on your driveway then there are no additional charges. Road permits may only be issued over the phone. Road permits are only issued for Calderdale and Wakefield district councils. Please call the office telephone number 01924 494964 to organise. Please note that we do not provide road permits for areas governed by Kirklees Council.
