Why Ravensthorpe Locals Use Us
Ravensthorpe is one of the closest places we deliver, under two miles from the yard, sharing WF12 with Dewsbury and sitting between Mirfield and Heckmondwike. Kirklees is the council, though that matters less than you’d think here: our skips go on driveways, gardens and yards rather than the road, so there’s no permit to arrange and no fee to pay.
Tiger has been a family business for over 20 years, trading as Boulds Bins before the change of name. Four sizes cover most jobs, 2 to 8 yards and roughly 20 to 80 bin bags, at £150 to £320, and you can keep them as long as you need.

Frequently Asked Questions
Book at least 24 hours ahead and pick a weekday. We deliver to Ravensthorpe Monday to Friday. Book a day or two out and you’ll get the delivery day you want.
Not with Tiger. Kirklees requires a permit when a skip sits on a public road or pavement, and we place skips on private land only: your driveway, garden or yard. In Ravensthorpe you won’t need a permit, pay a council fee or wait on paperwork.
You can keep the skip for as long as you need, within reason, at no extra cost. Please call us to arrange collection once you’re done.
Most household, garden and DIY waste: furniture, wood, metal, plastics, packaging, garden waste, soil and rubble, bricks, tiles, carpets, kitchen units and general clearout junk. Mixed loads are fine. A few items need booking in or keeping separate, including fridges, tyres and mattresses. See the list of items that are not allowed in a skip. If you’re not sure about something, ring us before you load it.
No. The price you see covers delivery and collection, however long you keep the skip. A handful of special items carry a charge, agreed up front when you book: tyres £10 each, mattresses £20 each, fridges or freezers £100 each. Plasterboard costs nothing extra with us, and your skip sits on your own property, so there’s no permit fee either. Don’t overload the skip however, as that could incur additional cost.
