We have a range of skips for hire in Clifton

Tiger Skip Hire is a skip hire service based in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. We cover a wide area including, Clifton, Brighouse, Cleckheaton and other local areas.

 

We have 4 main skips that we offer; 2 yards, 3 yards, 4 yards & 8 yards.

 

The 2-yard skip holds around 20 black bin bags or 2 cubic yards and is perfect for small home clearouts.

 

The 3-yard skip holds around 30 black bin bags and is great for large home clear outs and domestic waste. It is also suitable for garden waste if you are doing a spot of gardening.

 

Our 4-yard skip holds around 40 black bin bags or 4 cubic yards. It’s perfect for builders and the construction trade.

 

The 8-yard skip is the biggest skip we offer at Tiger Skip Hire. It holds 70-80 bin bags or 7-8 cubic yards. This skip is perfect for large construction projects where there is a lot of waste that needs to be safely disposed of.

 

While every effort will be made to take all of your waste, there are some items we are prohibited to take.  Current legislation also states that we cannot take items that may cause harm to the environment.  Prohibited items are subject to change following ever-changing guidelines and can be changed without notice.

 

Items we currently cannot take:

  • asbestos
  • gas canisters/bottle
  • hazardous chemicals

 

We also have a number of items that can be removed but will incur additional charges.

 

These are:

  • tyres – £10 each
  • fridges/freezers – £100 each
  • plasterboard – Ring for cost

 

We also ask that our skips are not overfilled as this poses a potential hazard to our staff, damage to our vehicles due to excessive weight limits and can impact our carriers licenses.  Level loads only will be collected, and overfilled skips will be emptied to a safe level to transport or another skip will be billed to your address to ensure all the waste is removed.

  • We offer four different sizes of skip: 2 yards, 3 yards, 4 yards & 8 yards. A 2-yard skip holds around 20 bin bags, a 3-yard skip holds around 30 bin bags, a 4-yard skip holds 40 bin bags, and an 8-yard skip holds up to 80.

  • Yes, we charge extra to dispose of certain types of rubbish, such as tyres, refrigerators and plasterboard. tyres - £5 each, fridges/freezers - £100 each and plasterboard - Ring for cost. We can't currently accept dangerous and toxic waste such as asbestos, gas canisters/bottle and hazardous chemicals.

  • You can keep your skip for up to 14 days.

  • You can select your delivery date on our contact form, or you can just give us a call and we will be happy to help.

  • Please do not overload our skips. It is dangerous to do so and will incur further charges. Level loads only.

  • The prices vary depending on road permits, types of waste and the size of the skip. Please call us for more information.

  • If your skip is on your driveway or your private property (eg. garden), you do not need a permit and there are no additional charges. Please note we DO NOT issue road permits - if you need a permit, please contact your local council to arrange your own permit.
